Offline Monitoring

A cost-saving solution

Machine breakdown is not always critical for the process of production. Downtimes of so-called „B“ and „C“ machines do not automatically lead to a loss of production and, as a consequence, to consequential damage. If such machines are to be monitored the cost-saving offline monitoring can be usually recommended since this solution offers an ideal cost-value ratio.

What exactly does offline monitoring mean?

Offline monitoring means taking vibration measurements and analyzing the achieved data on a regular basis. Thus, deeper knowledge about the normal condition of the machine can be gained. As a result, irregulations can be detected easily. The trend review, which is an important function of the F'IS products, is a great support. When creating the offline monitoring conception particularly the choice of the measuring spots and the measuring equipment as well as the determination of the measuring intervals have to be considered thoroughly.

E-service

Know-how in the field of condition monitoring does not necessarily be present on-site. The process of monitoring and the trend analyses for example can be performed by your staff. In case of irregularities the F'IS e-service can be used by simply hitting a button. All relevant data are exported and emailed to the F'IS diagnosis center where the data are evaluated. Promptly, the customer receives an meaningful report also sent by email. Due to the team work with the F'IS experts the customer soon achieves a considerable know-how in the field of vibration analysis.

Does the customer'staff needs to take an active part?

Of course, F’IS customizes the concept to the individual customer's conditions. If the customer is not able to have own employees perform the monitoring the F'IS experts can do the job on-site on a regualar basis.
